Where Youth Ministry Must Go…
September 20th, 2006 by Steve
Mark Oestreicher and I had coffee yesterday morning at the trendy Zondervan café. He showed up wearing his kilt and explained to me that he had a big leadership meeting that day. I love it. I can almost hear the bagpipes and Braveheart cries of, “freedom”!
You can’t help but love Marko. His ongoing passion for youth ministry is inspiring and I think we all appreciate his commitment youth leaders and youth ministry. Youth Specialties has lived up to their name and I’m grateful for their ongoing ministry to a global tribe of youth workers.
We’ve got an exciting thing brewing…
Marko, Kara Powell and I will be presenting at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary’s Talking Points on March 12, 2007.
Our topic will be “Where Youth Ministry Must Go…”
I hope through presentations and dialogue with attendees, we might attempt to peek around the corner and gain a prophetic view of what youth ministry must become and where we must go.
Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details…
